Not your average

The Helpers Inc. was founded by Evan Lieberman, a dually licensed clinician in mental health and addiction(MSW, LICSW, LADC). We are a recruiting and staffing agency focused on helping organizations that serve the mental health and substance use disorder population. We are based out of Minnesota but have aided nationally recognized programs all over the country by sourcing quality candidates with whom we’ve built relationships. From local mental health group practices to the largest behavioral health provider in the country, we love to help everyone that needs us.
In 2015, this business started utterly by accident. Our founder loved networking and casually helped fellow clinicians connect with some of his executive colleagues. Soon word traveled that Evan was good at finding clinicians, and these directors began offering to pay him. The light bulb went off, and that’s when The Helpers began. However, not only do we help organizations, we help our vast network of candidates find positions that best fit their career goals and values. Since we started, there has been a mass shortage of Behavioral Health clinicians to serve clients in need. Nothing has changed since then except that clinicians are even harder to find. We find that one of the biggest reasons organizations aren’t able to grow at the rate they desire is that there simply aren’t enough clinicians. However, we want to give you a leg up. Using our vast network, or even guidance, we want to be a tool to help you fully staff your program and grow.
